  1. Installera Splitright från App Store för iPhone och iPad eller Google Play för Android.

  3. Öppna appen och skriv gruppkoden. Tryck på “Gå med”. På iPhone och iPad använder du gruppkoden, även om du kom hit via en länk eller QR-kod.

Den här sidan visar inte koden. Be personen som bjöd in dig om den. Alla som har koden kan öppna gruppen och se och ändra dess utgifter, så dela den bara med personerna i gruppen.

How to join

  1. Install Splitright — the App Store button for an iPhone or iPad, the Google Play button for an Android phone or tablet.
  2. Ask for the six-character code. Every group has one, and it is what lets your device into the group. The person who invited you can read it off their own screen: it sits at the top of the group under “Invite the others”, next to the QR code. Open Splitright, tap “Join a group” and type it in.
  3. On Android, you can also try the invite link again. Once the app is installed, re-open the same link or scan the same QR code. If it does not open the group, use the code. On iPhone and iPad, use the code above.

New Splitright invites use https://www.getsplitright.com/join. If you received an older invite, ask your inviter for the six-character group code.

This page cannot show you the code itself: it is a plain static page with no scripts, and we would rather not print group codes on the open web at all. That is also why the code has to come from the person who invited you rather than from this page.

Keep the invite between you

An invite link is a key, not an advert. Anyone who opens it can join that group and see and change its expenses, so send it only to the people who are in the group — never post it publicly. If a link has gone further than you meant, ask the group’s owner to start a new group. The rules are in the terms and acceptable use policy.

What you are joining

Splitright is a free app for groups who share costs: a trip, a flat share, a dinner, a project. Everyone in the group adds what they paid, chooses who took part, and the app works out the balances and suggests who should pay whom to settle up. It supports 43 currencies and splits equally, by exact amounts or by weighted shares.

There is no account system: no profile, no email address, no password. The six-character group code is what lets your device into the group. More detail is on the Splitright page and in our guide to splitting expenses without making anyone sign up.

What it does not do

Splitright does not move money. It is not a payment app, a bank or a wallet, it does not connect to your bank or card, and balances and settle-up suggestions are informational — check them before paying anyone.

It has no receipt scanning and no CSV or PDF export, and it is not a backup: there is no self-service export or deletion today, so it should not be your only record of shared expenses. If you need those things, our honest comparison with other splitting apps says where to look instead.

Privacy

This page has no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and loads nothing from anywhere else. What the app stores for a shared group, and how to make a privacy request, is set out in the privacy information.
